Chav-free holidays

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7853360.stm

I reckon that a red-blooded chav would run a mile before going on their hols with people called John, Sarah, James, Charlotte and Lucy ;-)

Sorry, neither the title nor the body of the post intrigued me enough to click the hyperlink. Point lost, I guess. Can we spell ENNUI?

Apres_Londee Jan 28th, 2009 09:42 AM

Even more facinating is the article link at the bottom of the page under Features, Views & Analysis:

"Why are we suddenly so obsessed with man boobs?"

Cholmondley_Warner Jan 28th, 2009 09:56 AM

I'm not obsessed with moobs. I just accept them as a fact of life.

Should you wish to have a chav-filled holiday....

I've heard the term described, but probably do not have full appreciation, because I haven't experienced or witnessed the same. I do think this is hillarious, though.

Meanwhile, I'm thinking I will call my protagonist "Alistair McClean" should I ever write a spy novel.

>>>but probably do not have full appreciation, because I haven't experienced or witnessed the same<<<

Sorry, are you talking about chavs or man boobs?

Bitter Jan 28th, 2009 10:13 AM

too funny! I was talking about Chaves, not moobs.

The latter I unfortunately did witness by scrolling too far down the article.

Cries_Van_Notebook Jan 28th, 2009 10:34 AM

The one good thing about chavs on holiday is that you know who to go to if you want some "nose candy."

Or should I write "nose Candice"?

Thin

Cholmondley_Warner Jan 28th, 2009 10:38 AM

So if you want Charlie - seek out a darren?

RM67 Jan 29th, 2009 12:27 PM

What the hell is a diploma in Life Skills?

cheryllj Jan 29th, 2009 12:43 PM

Life skills must be what you have to excel in before you can study "performance coaching." Whatever that is.

Apres_Londee Jan 29th, 2009 12:47 PM

>>>What the hell is a diploma in Life Skills?<<<

It sounds like something one would be ordered to obtain by a judge, in lieu of jail time.

Cholmondley_Warner Jan 30th, 2009 02:44 AM

It's the kind of crap someone called Candice would "study" at polyversity.

flanneruk Jan 30th, 2009 03:51 AM

Candace is a Jordan clever enough to read the Daily Mail without letting you see her lips move.

Cholmondley_Warner Jan 30th, 2009 03:56 AM

Jordan? She has her knockers it's true..

Perhaps she could get her degree from this university

I rather fancy Business Management Strategy Co-ordination but Candice might like Hairdressing and Ecology

RM67 Jan 30th, 2009 06:18 AM

I'm going for 'Practical Tea-Making and Biscuit Procurement'!

Better get my CV updated pronto....

Lifeman Jan 30th, 2009 06:35 AM

The problem here is that a Chav with moobs, sat chatting to Candice(with boobs like Jordan) about where to get Charlie would drive me mad.

Maybe I need more life skills!

Apres_Londee Jan 30th, 2009 03:39 PM

It's spelt "skillz".
