CDG connection time question
 

Wondering if this will work;
Icelandair flight arriving CDG @ 1pm
with a connection to easyJet flight departing to Bologna @ 14:30 terminal 2B.
Looks like the check in time for the Bologna flight closes at 13:50

Doesn't look like easyJet has anything later that day. We'll only have carry on luggage.
Any help greatly appreciated.

I doubt that you will be able to make the connection. If another flight arrives at the same terminal as yours shortly before your flight, you will have long lines to get through immigration; and since you are dealing with separate bookings, the airline (Icelandair) will have no obligation to try to expedite your transfer.

I wouldn't book a 50 minute connection at CDG, especially having to check in with EasyJet.

Does anyone know if terminal 2B or the arrival of my Icelandair flight is close to immigration?
Other flights don't seem to be working out.

If it were an Air France-Air France (or code share) connection, you'd likely make it. Connecting to Easy Jet - I doubt it.

It means for everybody. easyJet is VERY strict about check in. Being in the queue at closing time is not enough, one must be checked in.

I don't think there is a chance in hell you'd make the connection.

If you're flying Air France/Delta, they routinely schedule short connecting times and are set up to enable passengers to make them. They have staff on the ground to guide you from terminal to terminal and shoo you through the corridors andmake sure you get to the right gate. I've made 45-minute connecting flights that way.

If your next leg is with Easy jet, nobody cares; it's up to you. And Easy Jet passengers have to go through that lugggage-weighing exercise, which eats up time.

It looks like Icelandair uses Terminal 1. Forget about connecting with a flight leaving Terminal 2B with a 50 minute connection time.

In case you're not familiar with them, it's because Easyjet are a budget airline who impose notoriously strict rules on check-in times, baggage limits etc. Flexibility is not in their lexicon, and if you are just a minute late at the check-in desk you'll be denied boarding. Fr some simple journey's they're absolutely fine, but I would never risk relying on a short onward connection with them.

Oh gosh! If you're coming into Terminal 1 there's NO WAY!!!

Grrrr. My own fault.
Had everything planned but somehow overlooked this key bit of info. Looks like I may have to eat this ticket. EasyJ has a few flights the next morning but that will screw up my Italy plans. There are flights leaving BVA but not a whole lot of online or up to date info on getting from CDG to BVA. Anyone know about transport to BVA? There's a few shuttle services but they don't tell me what time they leave/arrive.

It took us close to two hours to get from Beauvais to the western edge of Paris. Even if you have a direct shuttle from CDG, the time will not be much less. I would schedule a minimum of 4 hours to get between the two airports.

There are several options.Looks like you have to contact them with your arrival and departure times and they will get back to you with a schedule/quotes.

No response from the above shuttle company. The flight at BVA is at 18:15 which gives us plenty of time to get there if we can figure out how.
Alternate option is to go to Venice for more $$$$ from CDG but that flight isn't until 19:00. ;)

If anyone knows of bus and/or a train that will get us there please let us know.

Grab the BVA shuttle from the Porte Maillot.

The Air France no 2 bus to l'Etoile stops at the Porte Maillot.

I do remember that there is a bus that goes between the two airports but I can't remember the name of it.

I once flew Vueling out of CDG and the fun and frisk portion of the flight took forever. Additionally, the signs at CDG are awful and you lose time just getting to where you are supposed to be.
