Generally, what is the weather and the sea conditions like in Positano and Capri around the first week in October? My concern here is getting to Capri on October 6 from Positano. Is this a situation where I may not get to Capri or leave the island?

Has anyone been to Posillipo? What are your thoughts? Thanks!

Just hope for the best. Positano has had an unusually stormy summer. Sometimes boats don't run even on gorgeous days due to rough water conditions. Worse case scenario, you may be able to get to Capri from Sorrento which has more boats and a deeper harbor, unless it's a really nasty day. Good luck!
