Buy Gasoline

Any ideas about where is best to purchase gasoline? In France the best place is the supermarket-but I do not know about Italy.
Any suggestions,Thanks.

I would just make a mental note of prices as I drove around the country side, then when I got down to 1/2 or 1/4, I would pop into one that was the closest to the lowest price I saw.

Most of the stations are within a few Euro cents of each other, so it could cost you more to try to chase one down that would be out of your way. ((b))

Sorry-I had to be away from my computer-and missed the answers.
Thanks-again

Maybe I'm in the minority....but we drove 1500km in one week in Tuscany and I just got gas when I needed it.

There didn't seem to be enough difference to be worrying about prices.
