bus to zakopane from krakow
Me and my family will be staying in Krakow
for 4 nights on May 6. I am interested in seeing Zakopane but would rather make it a side trip from Krakow. Would it be too hard to do in 1 day? Also can someone tell me about bus schedule from/to Zacopane that time of year? Also, would it be too cold in early May ? Any info would be appreciated. |
The bus is faster than the train and it takes about 2 hours so easily doable in a day. The bus leaves from the train station near old town in Krakow and there are a number of departure times from both Krakow and Zakopane.

We made the trip during Easter time 2 years ago. It WAS cold - snowing in Zakopane when we arrived. We however, stayed overnight.

We also took the bus - very convenient from hotel in Krakow (Europski). WE went to the Toursit Bureau for a room if you change your mind. |
