Another vote for Lucky Dogs in New Orleans, especially the cajun sausage ones. There is even a Lucky Dog cart at the NO airport now!

I was very disappointed with my Vienna Beef Dog at O'Hare a couple weeks ago. Apparently they think at the airport that they can pass almost anything off on the tourists since they have a captive audience. Don't waste your money. Also, the deep dish pizza looked terrible!! This all in the United terminal which is a mess to start with architecturaly.

At the Copenhagen train station stand. They have a condiment of fried onions.

And the open air market in prague has some good heart burners.

My favourites are the ones you get in Greece, which, instead of being in a bun, come baked in a delicious light filo pastry.

Parkys Hot Dogs in Forest Park, Il. (at least they were 40 years ago) Greasy fries in a brown paper bag topped with dog with everything (except ketchup--yuk)!
|
Mmmm, a nice change of pace to read about simple fare versus the upscale, deluxe, pricey restaurants. You know, every once in a while you gotta have a hot dog ....
|
None of you are even close--Nathan's in Coney Island and Grey's Papaya on the Upper West Side make the best hot dogs in the world, hands down!
|
Congratulations!

YOU MAY ALREADY BE A WEINER!

I dunno - has anyone had a Jaffa Dog at the Holy Land Experience theme park in Orlando? Heavenly?
