Was always looking forward to this trip report. Hope everything is ok with Barb.

I really apologize for not getting that trip report done. Life just got in the way. I wonder if it's too late to do one now? I posted a question here a couple days ago about an upcoming trip to Italy and got such a unkind snarky comment back, I told myself I should just quit Fodors, but I have a pretty tough skin, so I will ignore that guy and turn the other cheek. Why let a few ignorant people spoil it for the rest of us. AND... if all goes according to plan, I am going to go back to the Camino the fall of 2016 and walk from Santiago to Finisterre. I will then make my way to Andalucia for a slow, relaxing holiday.

I miss and think about the Camino almost every day. Sounds dramatic, but it's true. It was really a life altering experience in so many ways.

Barb! Please continue your report! You are my hero!

Barb, as I said on the other thread, great to "see" you again! Yes, by all means, if you have the time write a report or at least the highlights. Not sure why some people are so antagonistic or snarky, just ignore them and please dont leave Fodors!
I'll be looking forward to your experiences on the Finisterre segment. After our Camino Portugués last year we went to Finisterre and Muxia but by car.
Yes, the Camino never leaves you!

I worry that because my Camino was so amazing and has left me with such good memories, that going back might be trying to recreate those experiences and it might be a disappointment. I rather think it will be a whole new set of wonderful, life changing moments, though I do think about that.

Cruiseluv, did you do a report on the Camino Portugues last year? I couldn't find it.

Thanks Sea. Come join me!!

Barb, No, I didn't.... Maybe I should follow my own advice to you and do one! :)
I must confess that I liked my Camino Francés better. I missed seeing all those cows and old villages...

Barb,

However, our fellow Fodorite Lincasanova joined me for part of the Camino Portugues and wrote a very nice report:

Barb!! Please write a report... The plan right now is fit my husband & I to go for my 50th birthday... Taking a month off... I'm 2 years out but dream of it almost every day...
Trips like yours keep my dream alive...I stopped posting very much due to a few reasons so I do understand what you mean but please consider writing it...
