Last Sunday's San Francisco Chronicle had a nice article with pictures on Laduree in Paris; especially nice for locals is the list of bakeries carrying Laduree-style macarons.

Thank you so much for this. I was in the Ferry Building last year and I was so excited to be able to buy and eat the macarrons. When in Paris I pefer the Gerard Mulot macarons over th Lauderee's.

based on this article, dd and i are planning a macaron tasting trip this summer all over the bay area.
