I was surfing the Hofbrauhaus website for our upcoming trip to Germany, and wondering if anyone can translate these events that are happening while we are there?

Obermueller Musikanten
Eine lange Familientradition besitzt Blas- und Musikkapelle Obermueller. Verschiedene Besetzungen machen die Kapelle ohne Verstaerker mit ungekuenstelter Volksmusik zu einem Genuss. Bayerische Blasmusik im –Kleinstformat-. Seit 1992 spielen die Musiker im In- und Ausland. Ihre Kapelle haben sie nach der Gaststaette in Straubing benannt, in der sie ihren ersten Auftritt hatten. Besetzung: Fluegelhorn, Basstrompete, Gitarre, Akkordeon und Tuba Wo: Schwemme

Die Rottacher Musikanten sind eine Besetzung der Blaskapelle Rottach-Egern am Tegernsee, die es seit ueber 100 Jahren gibt. Sie setzt sich aus zwei Trompeten, einer Posaune, einem Horn, einer Tuba und einer Ziehharmonika zusammen. Unter der Leitung von Hans Weber wird bayerische, tirolerische und boehmische Blasmusik gemacht. Wo: Schwemme

This is for different Bavarian folk music bands. You wont find any other music there.
IMO Hofbraeuhaus is too crowded and touristy. For a little bit more of atmosphere take Augustiner and/or ask at
your hotel for alternate beer cellars.

I do not speak german but there are a bunch of translation programs on the web. Just cut and paste.

They play the musik of the legendary brass musician Otto Ebner. Where: Schwemme (that's the ground floor part of Hofbräuhaus if I remember correctly).

Original Tafernmusikanten
Bavarian brass music in small format. Since 1992 the musicians have been playing in the country and abroad. They named their band after the pub in Straubing where they had their first gig. Instrumentation: flugelhorn, bass trumpet, guitar, accordion, tuba.

The Rottacher Musikanten are a part of the brass band Rottach-Egern on the Tegernsee that hast existed for more than 100 years. They consist of two trumpets, a horn, a tuba and an accordion. Conducted by Hans Weber, they are playing Bavarian, Tyrolian and Bohemian brass music. Where: Schwemme

I heard the Rottacher Musikanten at an equestrian festival on the Tegernsee two years ago. They are the real thing, lots of Bavarian style and gusto.

Best enjoyed with bratwurst and bier.

We were doing fine watching the horses and listening to the band until the heavens opened and rain descended in sheets.
