I have used lastminute.com several times for both short holidays and london theatre. i have even recommended them several times here. Previous to this latest trip, i have had no problems, never had to even call customer service.
This last booking has been a nightmare. they did not send my vouchers (as promised) and after 11 phone calls finally emailed the vouchers the very day before the trip (never received a "hard copy"). Customer service is a joke and they just promise and lie.
I realise that occasionally encoutering problems is inevitable when booking travel but when the company treats it all as a joke (the attitude was that they have my money and there is no recourse whether or not the vouchers are sent).
what if i had serious problem on my holiday, how could they respond to it if they can't even deal with a simple problem of sending the vouchers that i paid for?
i have absolutely no confidence in this company and will never book travel with them again.
