I'm not sure, but I think it is America's answer to Ozzie Osborne and family...

You have to pass a test to get into MENSA.

What is a kardashian?
The main reason why America is becoming a second rate country. |
no really?

They are a family on a TV reality show without any visible talent, brains, or shame.

I love that description :-P

Enough is enough, I guess. No more from me on the debate. I voted my common choices.

So BigAl, like the Munsters.
_____ The Munsters? Did that 50 year old TV show just get to the UK? The Munsters was harmless idiocy. The Kardashians, for some inexplicable reason, are the fodder of gossip and voyeuristic interest. They are the epitome of America's vapid pursuit of nothingness. |
I am having a hard time listing my favorite cities in order. I know I'd put Rome first, but am finding it challenging to rank the others. And I know I am overthinking this, but can't seem to mix the smaller towns within the larger cities, so I'm making two lists, neither of which are in order.
Cities: Rome Paris Venice Munich Prague Vienna Florence London Antwerp Madrid For smaller towns: Brugge Cesky Krumlov Berchtesgaden (area, not the town itself) Cochem Soglio Wengen Rothenburg Chania Bath Toledo |
Aramis, you're way out of your depth. Rest in peace.

Leaving Improvisor's preposterous position aside, my favorites are:

Some comments make no sense.
Most people want to go to BIG cities in Europe because that is were they can examine cultural pursuits--museums, plays, opera, ballet, concerts; dine in top restaurants, visit famous sites like the Eiffel Tower or Piazza San Marco. There is also public transportation in big cities. I don't want to rent a car on holiday. I work in one of the largest cities in the US and I spend a lot of my time in commuter traffic. Driving is the last thing I want to do in a foreign location. And, quite frankly it is none of your bloody business how I like to travel anyway. Thin |
