Has anyone stayed at the Al Campiello in Venice? Our travel agent has booked it for us but we do not know what its like.

Thankyou

Why don't you ask the travel agent? if she booked you there she must know something about it? or don't you trust her? if not, you should be looking for a new travel agent. i thought it was the agent's job to match the hotel with the client.

For opinions:

Put "Al Campiello" into the search box to find any mentions on this board.

Go to www.tripadvisor.com, put "Venice hotels" into the search box and scroll down until you get to Al Campiello.

Al Campiello is the "sister" inn to Al Vagon....
Haven't stayed at Al Vagon, but did check out the rooms....very nice for the $$. We did eat at the Al Vagon restaurant....very nice meal right on the canal.
Would I stay there? YES
