Adare Manor B&B rate ?
 

The Adare Manor website lists a "b & b" rate that is dramatically cheaper than their standard room (85 Euro vs 240) but there is no detail about the room, although it seems to be in the manor. Anyone know anything about this? Seems too good to be true!

Recession special. It might be midweek only. Grab it if you like the idea of staying there.

perhaps post a link to the rate - I don't see any rooms listed less than €227 a night and up -- waaaaay up.

It is actually Th-Fri-Sat but in early December. Not generally too suspicous, but I have an image of ending up in a broom closet :)

That is the link I have. I just put Dec 3 into the reservation system and that was one of the options....

The B&B rate is per person sharing, so the difference is not quite of the order of 85/240.

Thanks very much Padraig. That explains a lot; I missed that. It also seems they are not open all week at that time of the year and the 85 euro is only Thursday. It goes up to 145 per person for the weekend. Still a decent deal and may make up for dicey weather at that time of year!
