Love the comments! Nikki, sounds like you are the winner in how not to do it!!

All this reminds me of the Scotsman who took longer steps to save shoe leather. In the process, he ripped his pants.

Gomiki have a great trip. Don't worry about the exchange rate, just enjoy Paris in the springtime.
We are on a tight budget when we travel but we never fret over the exchange rate when we go to the US. Sometimes it's in our favour, sometimes it not. Swings and roundabouts. |
Gomiki and I are on our way tomorrow and we want to wish you a good week and thank all or friends for the good wishes.
Along with scarlett's birthday, we'll toast to all you wonderful, informative, fun, fodorites. |
cigalechanta, we look forward to the trip report(s)!

Gomiki and Mimi,
Have a wonderful visit. Don't worry about the exchange rate. It's Spring. You're in Paris. Enjoy yourselves and feel lucky to be there. Have a drink for me. Johanna |
Just want to add my "Bon Voyage". I hope you both have a wonderful time!

USNR, LOL.. so true!
hetismij and gracie and Caph, thank you for the good wishes. At this point I am more worried about the weather..a week of rain is forecast! I am going to start packing now and adding rain gear. (need the crying emoticon). Last week was perfect. But I will be in good company :) |
