I thought my quip about the Irish not minding being called Brits didn't need one of those tireseome "emoticons", but I should have known that in cyberspace they can't see your tongue in your cheek. OK, here it is: :)

leather - that's very nasty. I'm shocked to hear that someone would find this funny. Were they drunk?

Hi SRS,

A couple of suggestions re posting:

1. A link to a site is sufficient. It is not necessary to post the whole report.

1a. Fodors can get into trouble if we post copyrighted material on their site.

2. Long URLs mess up the formatting. You can shorten them by copying and pasting to www.tinyurl.com.

For hdm: I was reminded of Jonathan Miller's line in "Beyond the Fringe" (over 40 years ago) - "I'm not a Jew. I'm Jew-ish."

Sounds like me, PL!

Patrick, I've been trying to remember someone else (it sounds like George Carlin) who used to say, "why can't the Jews commit? A catholic says "I'm Catholic", a protestant says "I'm protestant", a Baptist says "I'm Baptist", but a Jew only says "I'm Jew-ish".
