Then you just do the easy flip to the sofa and you have a veery comfortable bed..not the old nasty sofa beds!!

No, I am not staying in this one, but I would not hesitate to staying in it. I think it is precious.I stayed in the Meursault, which has the loft bed, or the sofa down below. I opted to clumb the ladder..it was rather fun. The view from the Meursault is spectacular..The ET right there!!

It is unusual for a Paris Perfect not to be several floors up..that is where most of them are, for the views and the light. The location of this one is so great, at least the area that I find I like to be in.

The economy has many looking for some help in lodging and ways to make it more reasonable, but to still keep the quality and the amenities. Not easy!

There is quite a story with the apartment.

It was something that they had for a long time. Used it for storing things etc. It had the big windows and high ceilings. Madelyn's husband suggested selling it, but Madelyn said she would turn the sow's ear into a silk purse! She is very pleased with what she accomplished..and well she should be! Her husband was surprised with the outcome. When you step out the door to be facing Champs de Mars with the Eiffel tower is really pretty special, too!!

I have booked the Meursault for my coming June trip!
was a bit tempted to email Michelle if i could change to Pastis (being new and much cheaper!:P)
Since you have stayed there before, can you give me some idea what is in the neighbourhood? like any great cafes or shops?

Great neighborhood for the Meursault. Right next door is Cafe Max. Go in and tell Valdo (owner) that Joan sent you!! A block down to the left is Le Florimond...a great restauarant with excellent local following..say Hi to Laurent.Ecole Militaire Metro is in that direction. Rue Cler, also. Turn right and to corner and to the right a short block is Pasco's..open on Sun. too. La Tour Maubourg Metro is a block further..then continue on La Tour Maubourg to some other good restaurants. Les Anges and La Cuisine are but a couple.

Wander on over to St. Dominique to all 4 Constant restaurants..Fables de la Fontaine, Violon d'Ingres, Les Cocottes and Cafe Constant...

Either choice would be great, IMO..anything else??

i am still in the midst of my planning... right now i am having more of a headache looking for 2 nights accomodation in Nice... if only PP operates there as well...
hmm for the places you recommended... do they speak english? i come from Singapore, and cant speak a word of French except yes, no, sorry and excuse me!

English is not a problem in Paris. The salutations in French and the little that you know will do just fine.

i have seen so many Nice apartments online, that my head is bursting... but the ones i like are already taken!
thankfully Meursault was ok, except, they could not take us on the 5th of June which will be our 4th anniversary... so we had to go to London for the first 3 nights... i had so so wanted to spend my anniversary in Paris... sigh...

Are you staying in a London Perfect apt? They do have London apts, too Will you be going to Paris after London?

yup! but im not staying at their london apartments...
we wanted to splash it out a bit for our anniversary so we decided to get a hotel for that 2,3 nights.
After London, it will be to Paris for 5 nights and continuing to Nice for 2 nights before flying back to Dubai.
I have not booked accomodation for London and Nice yet though...

3sica: I don't think any Nice apartment owner/agency will accommodate you for just 2 nights in June. At that time of the year, there's a minimum number of nights you have to book, usually 7 nights. I don't understand your need to stay in an apartment for just 2 nights....just stay in a hotel. There are tons in Nice at all price range.

In your above quote, I hope you meant Nice as in the city in France, and not Nice as an adjective.
