A few photos of Christmas in Paris 2011
My attempted photo report about some of the sights to see for those who are spending Christmas in Paris (or who are <b>not</b> spending Christmas in Paris) has not advanced as rapidly as I would have hoped, and I still have a bunch of photos to add. But here it is anyway: http://tinyurl.com/bv63m5q

That's quite magical . . . thanks for another wonderful series of pictures.
Merry Christmas to all, Di |
We saw the "hoola hoop" decorations last night. And, the line for the skating rink was quite long! A good 30-45 minute wait I would guess.
Thanks again for posting pics! |
Rond Point series my fav awesome composition.Snowed last Xmas I was there I sure miss Papa Noel. But the good news is my wife and I will be there in April. Thanks a truly wonderful way
to get into the festive Xmas spirit for me today. |
Thank you for sharing the Christmas experience with me too. The Christmas celebrations are awesome in the rest of the places too. With family I enjoyed in Paris and moved to Disneyland with kids by ferries. Kids enjoyed a lot in the Christmas eve. Elders in the family also enjoyed like kids in the Disneyland.

Great photos, thanks! Blue is not my favorite color for Christmas and I don't like the hoop shapes so it's a "no vote" from this Christmas traditionalist.
I love the atmosphere of the Christmas markets but apart from the food and vin chaud, the goods, with some exceptions, scream "made in China." |
Thanks for another great photo report, K.

You LIVE over a Mickie D's...IN EUROPE...God, and you can actually USE a camera..it's a miracle for certain....
seriously, great photos and let's face it; Paris is...PARIS so essentially what's not to like <G>? Have a WONDERFUL holiday and an even more prosperous New Year!!! |
Well, I do not actually live on top of the McDonald's. I live on top of a bank. But when I go downstairs, the McDo is just two buildings over.
|
I think it's an extremely CRUEL thing to post pictures of Paris, so that us poor unfortunate souls have to suffer through this display, wishing it were us taking those pictures!
|
Kerouac, thanks so much for sharing your Christmas photos of Paris. We expect to arrive on Tuesday, December 27, and look forward to enjoying, among other wonderful things, the festive decorations. Joyeux Noel!
|
Beautiful. I don't object to the blue at all. Thank you for sharing.
|
Thanks Kerouac! Another few minutes of a Paris escape. Loved the video as well as it reminds me of how alive with sound Paris is.
|
thanks so much , we plan to be in Paris christmas 2012 - I am looking forward to it even more now
|
Thanks, Kerouac. That's a real taste of Paris Christmas lights.
|
Thanks, Taconictraveler. The Paris is full of beautiful scenaries all around the year. Though it is beautiful Christmas celebrations attract the visitors to plan a weekend trip to Paris to enjoy the shows, events and many musical parties too.
|
Merci! =D>
Another wonderful way to pass the time during a dreary winter. |
Thanks for another wonderful photo essay, Kerouac. I loved the Notre Dame part, both the creche scenes and the singing during mass video.
|
One should accept the real thing that this is an another wonderful experience as it is pleasure in the winter too. These video clippings make the trip pleasurable in the later days of the trip as they make the individuals memorable.
|
