Goodness me, I'm still doing that! Not money, but when we go dancing and I don't want to carry a purse I slip my slender lipstick tube down the centre of my bra!

worldinabag Mar 24th, 2010 06:32 PM

I don't think money in a bra is a good idea. Waiters would be forever asking you for a tip :)

Perhaps guys should use padded Y fronts for secreting cash...

I have one of the aforementioned bra wallets; just big enough for a few dollars or euro notes and a spare credit card, for emergencies.

jaja Mar 24th, 2010 07:35 PM

Oh, crud, just realized that if I meet any of y'all now you will be staring at my chest to see if you can detect the wallet. At my age, that's about the only reason.....

i worked in a pub as a bartender. i discovered i would get so many more tips at the end of the night if i let the men customers see me put there tip money inside my bra. it didnt bother me and they seem to enjoy the show i gave them. new years eve i had to use both cups to store me money.

What happens when you are small chested with very little cleavage? No hiding place? I would love to adopt some of the strategies here, but I wear only slightly padded bras. I was thinking about lining the bottom of the cups with flatened out notes as a secure hiding place for the main stash, and just carrying a small amount of notes and coins in a purse.

What about if you don't wear a bra? Mmm..there might be a potential market for men's padded Y fronts $-)

One can discreetly stash $79,000 USD in one's bra:

Didn't see this discussion when it appeared 5 years ago ..... still a relevant topic !! Have not used the girls as personal security system, but may consider doing so.

I've been everything between a 42D and a 48DDD - and plenty of things have been hidden in my cleavage. Money, credit cards, cell phone (very useful when out walking and listening to iphone music or podcasts!), passport, even change and drinks (yes, I can drink a can of coke without my hands, at least when I'm in my corset at a renaissance festival!) :)

Dayenu Oct 25th, 2011 08:29 AM

These days it's not only cash, it's also 1-2 credit cards and 1-2 ATM cards, where do you put those? Don't they slide out?

Anybody tried to hide iPad? :D

november_moon Oct 25th, 2011 09:17 AM

I think with a 48DDD, a person could hide an iPad.

GreenDragon Oct 25th, 2011 06:22 PM

Pretty much, november_moon! :)

GreenDragon Oct 25th, 2011 06:23 PM

I usually slip it over my breast, under my bra (on top). That way I can still feel/see it, but it's not obvious. For rounded objects (like the aforementioned coke can) it goes in the center of the cleavage, supported by the girls.

persimmondeb Oct 25th, 2011 06:58 PM

My mother-in-law used to keep nearly that much in her bra, and I don't think she was ever bigger than a 40D or so. It could be kind of lumpy though.

I've certainly put money in my bra, down the center, and tucked under one side or the other between the underwire and the breast. I don't think I've ever had bills fall out, but coins will usually stay for a while and then pop out after you've forgotten they're in there. A bra with light fiberfill (not really padding, but a shaped lining) would work well for the velcro idea, even in a smaller size.

bardo1 Oct 26th, 2011 06:36 AM

persimmonseb, Your MIL regularly carried about $79,000 in her bra?!?!

persimmondeb Oct 26th, 2011 06:46 AM

No, she used to keep the entire contents of her purse in there. No cellphone, and I have thankfully never seen her take a can of coke out of there, but credit cards, candies, house keys, random notes, folding money and change, etc.
