Actually, seatguru does give information on entertainment options-video as well as audio. :0)

I checked seatguru and it says that most of BA's 747's have the individual screens.

I'm going to take a guess that you fly on American Airlines. They have personal video just on the 777. Unfortunately, as far as I know, on European routes, they only use the 777 to London (at least from NY and Chicago) and from Dallas to Frankfurt. The rest all seem to be 767s, including those to Rome and Milan.

Keep in mind as others have said, the existance of personal video hasn't anything to do with the model of the plane, but how that specific airline has chose to outfit them. Other other airlines may very well have PV on the 767 if you're receptive to shopping around. I generally stick with AA because of the seats, which allow more room in coach than the others.

And to the value of your question, it's a bright one who'd suggest that watching a movie was taking away from sites that you aren't yet at. I wouldn't worry too much about that guy. lol
