Thank you for your comments.

Sberg, I was an enthusiastic reader of trip reports and eventually got the courage to write one, and then another, and another.... just hoping no one would be mean to me at first

I gained so much from other people’s ideas, I guess it was nice to contribute too. For example, I visited St Ursanne last year, someone mentioned it somewhere or I’d never have known about it, wonderful experience. And the new format where you can insert photos is great.

Adelaidean -

No Scuol for us this year - thought we'd mix it up a bit with Flims and Zuoz, plus Seefeld and St Gilgen.

Fingers crossed for wintry weather (not that it's exactly warm here in Colorado at the moment!)

Hi Melnq8 --

Not sure about Switzerland or Austria, but here in Bavaria we're off to a bad start. The ski season on the Zugspitze was slated to open this weekend but has been postponed due to lack of snow & warm temps. Hope it gets going soon!

Me too swandav. We've already had a nice dose of snow and cold here in the Rockies, and if you believe the weather guessers we're in for a good storm tonight. We're certainly not cold weather deprived, but somehow Christmas markets, winter hiking and apfelstrudel mit vanilleSoße are so much better in the cold and snow.

We had a near snow-free winter here last year and I know your area has had some sparse winters too. Here's hoping for a good winter for all of us.
