Yes - Charleston, SC. I have been here almost six years (from Atlanta) and it really is quite nice I'll have to say. We are generally speaking (always dangerous) a friendly and exceedingly polite city. I'm always part amazed/part amused by transplants from other areas of North America that think it is "so cute" that my children say sir and ma'am. It's just inherently part of our upbringing.

Anyway - back to Paris. Booked a room at the new Westin Paris (old intercontinental) using my Starwood points. So needless to say I am feeling very light at how little money I've dropped so far. Means there will be more to spend once I arrive.

Experiencing sort of a let down now as it seems too early to worry about the small detail arrangements (passes, reservations and such) and I'm afraid I'll have to go back to thinking about my regular life. Oh travel is so much more fun!
