Why stay someplace that has a curfew? Why do they have a curfew? How old are you? Nothing happens in Europe until 11:00. Stay someplace else, go out and have fun.

Don't be so sure, leslie. Having read many of Food Snobs obnoxious posts, I think they may have actually found a woman with a repulsive enough character that could actually turn a straight guy to gay.

True, nothing happens before 11 and clubs are empty until 1 am.
But I think sightseeing doesn't match with clubbing that much and you'll be quite tired after a whole day walking around. Fortunately this Fraterna Domus seems to be such centrally located that you will be able to have a nice dinner and a glimpse of night life around Campo de Fiori, as well. |
LeCanard - I don't know....I could site see all day and still be wide awake past 11pm to go clubbing. Only thing is, when we were in Rome, we couldn't find any clubs to go to! We asked a taxi driver one night to take us to a disco - he told us there really weren't any. Not sure if he was pulling our leg, but we never did get to go to a club in Rome.

donnabee,
most discos are closed between July and September as people tend to hang outside when it's warm (6 months a year :-) ), but Rome has a wide choice of clubbing venues. Time Out Rome can give you an idea. wanderfar (nomen omen), I remember, when at university, girls staying at religious colleges had to spend ALL night out, pretending to be guest at some friends', if clubbing. |
LeCanard - Thanks! I'll remember that next time.
