My favorite cities are Madrid, Seville and Costa del Sol.<BR><BR>And of course the wonderful foods & wines throughout Spain.<BR><BR>The fabulous museums, palaces, cathedrals, parks, beaches, & nightlife are memorable.

Salamanca, Toledo, Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, Mallorca, Valencia, Seville, Marbella and Ibiza were all spectacular cities & islands that we completely enjoyed during our 3 weeks in Spain.

ditto on all of the above plus:<BR><BR>Toledo in Spring. Luncheon in the garden of the Hostal del Cardenal- - a must. Staying there, too. so romantic. It is built against the ancient moorish walls of the city. I would go back in a heartbeat.<BR><BR>The windmills and castle of Consuegra in La Mancha and the view.<BR><BR>The charming people of Almagro in La Mancha<BR><BR>wandering around the gardens of the Alcazar in Sevilla<BR><BR>the intoxicating wildflowers of the Andalusian countryside<BR><BR>Parque Reale Botanico in Madrid. I love the old world flavor of Madrid and it's parks.<BR><BR>Las Meninas by Velasquez. Just thinking about it is pleasurable.<BR><BR>The THYSSEN BORNEMISZA MUSEUM in Madrid<BR><BR>Restaurante Isadora not far from Plaza Ana in Madrid. The owner/chef is wonderfully eccentric and serves some real homecooking.<BR><BR>Lunch or drinks in the Plaza Mayor <BR><BR>Pescado Frito in Sevilla<BR><BR>in fact almost anthing you eat, do, or experience in Sevilla<BR><BR>The Picasso museum in Barcelona<BR><BR>The architectural details of Spain and the use of color is inspiring and rich<BR><BR>La Macarena<BR><BR>The opportunity to experience a Paso in Sevilla <BR><BR>buying a silk shawl from a shop tucked into a dark medieval passageway <BR><BR>Getting to know the people of Spain is a joy and-- yes, so many of the women are so beautiful to look at. They are strong, beautiful and feminine.<BR><BR>The Goya skies of Madrid<BR><BR>Long lunches and Siestas. Dinner at midnight in crowded restaurants. The Spanish people seem to really know how to live life to the fullest. They don't seems to be afraid of anything either. I've made a list of the 50 things they are not afraid of.<BR><BR>The arabic flavor of the South mixed with the traditional european intrigues me.<BR><BR>The view of the various Pueblos Blancos as you drive through Andalucia.<BR><BR>Luscious orange and lemon blossoms, jasmine, honeysuckle,and white roses.<BR><BR>The music and the spontaneous outbreak into song that can happen anywhere.<BR><BR>I guess you can see that I am in love.....with it all. <BR><BR>
