Oh, I've always wanted to get my hair cut in Paris but too afraid! But you have given me the courage to at least consider getting it done.

Can you please tell me the name of the hair salon on rue de Buci? Do you ask for a particular stylist? Cost?

Thanks so much!

Here you go 2010 http://www.coiff1rst.com/salons/salons.php

The cost depends on the expertise of the stylist. I've paid anywhere from 45 - 100 euro. No I don't ask for the same person, I just take whoever I can get at the moment.

You can do the whole Franglish thing, and in fact any two languages, on www.busuu.com with a skype type link. Great fun and you can do it for free and before you go on holiday so you are basically up to speed before you go. I'm trying it with Italian at the moment. We will see how it goes in a few weeks time.

Great trip report by the way.

I love your report. It is so much fun to read and has inspired me to drink champagne on my next trip. I think we must be going to the same hair salon, right beside the small hardware store. I have been going to Sebastian who is very good and puts up with my rather limited French conversation.
Thanks!
