[QUOTE=Sassafrass;17339877]My hometown had many, many Polish immigrants. I have never met kinder, warmer, more caring people. It may be generalizing, but if they were any example, immigrants will be cared for as much as possible by Poland.[/QUQUOTE
Yes, Polish people are nice. About people asking about my experience crossing the border I had a nightmare about it so I don't think it is good to talk about it until some of the stress goes away. |
Right now seeing pictures on TV of a very organized Polish army directing immigrants to stations for food and shelter.

You don't have to describe your crossing, but please check in so we know you are OK.
Hopefully, you can find a way home soon. |
Cruise_traveler, checking in to see how you are doing. I hope you are safe .

I am in Krakow and seeing what the requirements are for crossing the border and getting on the ship. I have my vaccine certificate. If you know of anyone that wants to split the cruise from Germany to the US let me know. |
Thanks for checking in. Wishing you safe travels.

If it is possible for you to say, it might be difficult, but in retrospect, if you absolutely knew how things would go, if you had the opportunity would you do this differently, face your fears and fly or hang on and go through the trauma of war beginning?
Hope the rest of the trip goes well. It will certainly be quite a change to be on a Cunard ship. |
