christiegr, I sent another e-mail asking why people like IHOP are allowed to still post when they call others racists and I was told I started all the problems. I started the problems because I gave my honest opinion and experiences in Aruba. Guess that is not allowed. The moderator that I have a problem with on the TA site is Kate.

Guess what bugs me the most is that the newbie coming to that board for information will not get a true all over picture of that destination, but instead a glossed over picture by all the people that have a personal financial interest in Aruba such as IHOP.

If you have problems with the Trip Advisor forum, talk about it there.

Better yet, exchange private email addresses and discuss your *issues* privately.

I really don't care who has been blocked or not on Trip Advisor. Respond to pertinent posts on this forum.

Christie and onzgo, you both spent what, a week on Aruba, and neither of you liked it. I get that...we all get that.

Aruba will continue to have fans and any suggestion of boycott will change nothing, certainly not for the folks who work in the hotels...you know, the housekeepers, chambermaids, the guys sweeping the floors. Those are the people who will suffer from any cutback in tourism.

And if you think any *threat* of Anmerican boycott is going to change the government, just take a look at the good ole USA.

I made a post to the editors on TA and asked why you had been banned and told them that you gave some useful advice.I also told them that there are some people who personally attack all the time and are never banned and I asked where is the fairness??

Well all of that got deleted.Guess that I will not get an answer.

You misunderstood me.;) I said that when you make a post to the editors on THIS forum...they will usually answer you..not just delete your post like TA does.

I agree with Marion, you really should email each other privately and leave this thread for the travellers who actually do want to know "What is Aruba like?" Not, two posters griping about a completely different travel forum.

I have to say I did take a quick look at the other Aruba forum and I fail to see why anyone would want to post there!
