We will be ib Aruba for a week in January and early Feb. Cant wait!!!

cristiegr, did you request they remove your posts on TA site? Can you still post there?

cristiegr, I don't think you said anything wrong over there and as a matter of fact the other person was quite rude to you and some of his remarks are still there. What gives??? ;-)

No I did not request that my post be removed..IHOP must have.I did request that the personal attacks that he made on me be removed though.Have you noticed...if IHOP is not looking like a *know it all* he will have the posts removed.I have never met such a rude,immature person.He is why I rarely go to TA.Have you noticed that the people on this forum are alot more mature and do not have time for all the drama.They just like to talk about traveling...well most of them anyway.;)

Did you noticed that at one point..I had had enough of IHOP's mouth and I stooped to his level by saying (on the Natural bridge collapsed post)"Too bad that you were not standing on it when it collasped" to IHOP.LOLOL I could not help it..he had me very very mad when he called me a racist and small minded for NO REASON.I have never made a racist remark.He just assumed that because I am from NC that I am a racist..how small minded is that!!What a hippocrit.

I didn't see that about the Natural Bridge. I think he either has a in with the moderator of the Aruba board over there or something. He can practically get away with anything and so can some others, but when you and I try to say something they attack and before you know it our posts are removed. I couldn't post this evening even though I was signed on. I was trying to help someone in the Cancun forum on the TA site. Wonder if they are trying to block me. Can you post on TA this evening? We all know IHOP is trying to protect his own personal financial investment in Aruba.

That remark he made to you is racist and IHOP should be reported to their moderator of that board.

I post over there because otherwise newbies to Aruba will only get a glossed over picture of Aruba and believe all the hype that some would like to promote.

ONZGO..one more thing..yes I can still post on TA.I also reported IHOP and noticed that the whole thread is FINALLY deleted.I also requested that he be band..this is not the first time that he has been such a jerk and not just to me.He was very rude to a guy from Texas by saying "don't you have some cows to feed"..now know small minded is that.

You will find that on this forum..some people love Aruba and that is fine..but they also will not make personal attacks on you just because you do not agree with them.:)

Yes, I have. I have sent them a email, so will let you know if I am blocked if I get a reply. I also signed off and then signed in again, but that didn't help either. Oh well, time will tell.

christiegr, I got answer to my email. I am not allowed to post on any forum on the TA site. Strange how some, such as IHOP, can get away with harrasing others on that forum if they say anything negative about Aruba and can even call others racist, such as yourself. The Aruba lovers gang up and harass and complain to the moderators if you respond to their harassing posts and then the moderators remove your post. I suggest if you ever get harassed by any of them that you report their posts immediately each and every time they do it. I reported their harassing posts a couple of times and nothing was done to remove their harassing posts, especially during regular business hours during the week by one particular moderator, which I found very strange. Could she be a Aruba lover too???

I have never attacked anyone first for having an opinion different from mine, but they attacked and harassed me and I was always polite when I responded to their insults when they called me a liar, etc. I have never lied about my experiences on Aruba and can back up my facts I post about Aruba. So much for TA being an unbiased, honest website for travel information, especially when it comes to Aruba. Looks like the Aruba lovers or Aruba Tourism got to them too.

Anyway this is a much friendlier forum :)and I welcome all opinions on Aruba even ones that don't agree with my opinion of Aruba, because that is called freedom of speech and isn't this what these travel forums are about to give our opinions, experiences and facts about a place we have visited so we can help people learn about a destination.

If TA doesn't want me to post on the Aruba forum, that is fine, but to not let me post on all their forums is very frustrating when all you are trying to do is help other people learn about places you have been to.

I have never had any problems on any other destination travel forums on any site including TA, except for the Aruba forums.

Different strokes for different folks.

Nice to know that there is at least this one honest and unbiased Aruba forum where ALL opinion are respected. :-)

That is unbelieveable.IHOP has made SO many personal attacks on people..I cannot name them all.You are never rude..except when someone like IHOP starts in with the name calling..(which I cannot blame you for defending yourself).;)

I will have to take my chances and make a post about this on that forum.No big loss..if I get banned..I definitely will not miss IHOP.:)
