St. Maarten, or St.Kitts?
 

Vacationing soon, and would like to know if anyone has been to both these islands. Which did you like better, and why?

It depends on what you are looking for in a vacation - St. Maarten is a more developed - tourist oriented island. If you like the nightlife & casinos, etc. St. Maarten has a lot more options for nightlife and shopping, etc. In the daytime it has great watersports.

St. Kitts only has one casino and not a lot of nightlife. It is for the more laidback traveller. We prefer Kitts because it has more of what we want - great snorkelling, interesting beaches ( black sand), the rain forest, etc.
