Recommendations for a hotel in Old San Juan??

I am into Old World architecture more than beach life. So, I'm thinking I'd be happier in Old San Juan.

Any recommendations for a hotel there?

Look into El Convento.

I stayed there once many years ago. I did not remember it well and when I walked by the property just a few years ago, I really did not remember it being fancy! The place seems to have been totally done over into a luxury hotel. It is right in the heart of scenic OSJ.

El Concerto's website was so appealing that I booked a room. For a great mid-week rate. THANK YOU very much!!

Do check out the rooftop pool and the 'happy hour'

It's walking distance to so many good restaurants but do try 'Tantra', they have a belly dancer who dances in the doorway on the hour - on a Saturday at least.

We went there for cocktails and it was so entertaining watching the passerbys gawp at her.
I can't vouch for the food
