"I’d soon learn that there were many disappointments in JA, but to take them all in stride, because when you miss something, you catch something else that was even more spontaneously magic than what you had your expectations on" :) :) :) |

Is it me or do Australians travel a whole lot more than anyone else?
They seem to be rather adventurous about it, too. |
liza,
yes they do seem more adventurous. I have not had the time lately to finish reading all of the posts.I have made it to #6.I have been LMAO at this guys detailed trip. Maybe I will find the time to finish the rest of them...oneday.;) |
Liza--I believe that Australians get significantly more vacation (or as they would say "holiday") time than us nose to the grind Americans. I'm thinking most get 6 weeks a year? Like you, I have the impression they are very good about using their time off to explore in a wonderful, adventurous way. I feel like all of my leave is used to visit family, so very little time is left for exploration any more.

That makes sense. Europeans get those long vacations too.
I am living in the wrong country for loving to travel so much..... |
