Anything is possible, it all depends on your budget and how much time you want to spend traveling. A common misconception people have is thinking they can take a boat or ferry from one Caribbean island to another. Unless the islands are really close to one another chances are there?s no regular service, as is the case between St. Lucia and Antigua or the BVI?s. If you wanted to go by boat from St. Lucia to Antigua or the BVI you?d have to charter one and be prepared for about a week of ?blue water? sailing ? great stuff if you are into open water yacht racing.
You can probably go by plane from St. Lucia directly to Antigua but probably would have to make one or two stops or plane changes to get to the BVI?s. You can check out flight itinerary options and prices on various travel web-sites such as www.expedia.com or www.travelocity.com.
If you are truly interested in island hopping during your honeymoon consider chartering a ?crewed? sailboat in either the BVI?s or the Grenadines. You?ll be able to visit one or two different islands each day, have plenty of time for swimming & snorkeling on your choice of hundreds of beaches, enjoy wonderful meals cooked by your own chef and have cocktails and watch the sunsets from a different location each night. Best of all you set your own pace.
