Thank you so much for all you help..
some people have been extremely helpful and I have been looking into all your suggestions...
and to the other obnoxious people, I hope that your life improves, it's obvious you are very unhappy and maybe you should get away to an island yourself:)
Dear infantile Susan, please stop your ramblings of stupidity and grow up already. My iguana is smarter than you! I've got a perfect place for you, it's called SIBERIA. Toodles.

Susan-
You said you are getting married the week of Christmas? Why don't you wait until the first weekend of January for your honeymoon?

That way there will be NO kids, they will all be back in school.

My suggestion is NOT to wait until February for your honeymoon. YOu will only experience that NEW honeymoon feeling once in your lifetime, and that is immediately following your wedding (or a week there after).

My husband and I went to Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellars Casino. The last resort on the high rise section. It had a beautiful long beach, with a wonderful waterfall in the swimming pool. Beautiful tropical grounds...VERY VERY romantic!

No chance of hurricane or rain whenever you go!

Have a wonderful time and congratulations!

Susan

For the Honeymoon person:

Try Cuisinart Resort & Spa on Anguilla. We went there for our Honeymoon. It is absolutely the best most romantic resort and it,and Cap Juluca are both part of the 'small luxury hotels' group worldwide....Both top of the line, awsome beaches, food, service, huge rooms. There have been tons of postings about cuisinart, take some time and consider it. restaruants in Anguill are equal/better than the best restaurants in chicago and ny.....Courtney Cox went to Anguilla on her honeymoon and Steven Tyler from Aerosmith was at the Cuisinart the week before we were this past april...its awsome..

Harrison Ford stays at Caneel Bay on
St. John and Alan Alda goes there
every year.

Folks, her dilemma is spending less than $1000 a night. I adore Le Toiney on St. Barth's, best around, and cannot wait to try Cap Jaluca and Caneel but she is not going to get into these places at Xmas time for less than $1000 a night plus food, shopping, etc.! That is why it is fun to find places that the celebs value AND that the rest of us can actually afford to at peak season! We only did LeToiney because it was July and half the normal price!!!

This might be a little late but I went to Yasawa Island Resort in Fiji. It was out of this world. Only 15 couples are allowed/no children. We flew from KS to Fiji and stayed at the resort for nine days for the same price of anything we could find closer to home. Check out their website yasawaislandresort.com

Maui is great in January. Spent a month there and no rain. Only time I had rain in Maui was in June.
Try Petite St. Vincenct for a spectacular honeymoon.
|
Petite St. Vincent is in the grenadines. It is a resort on its own island. Very romantic and secluded.
|
Try Seychelles or Mauritius. Really good places can be had for $400 to $600 a night (with meals) and there is usually plenty of space available until September or October. I booked last year with www.MauritiusMagic.com
