Caribbean Restaurants Worth the Splurge

Thanks to Tom for bringing this page to our attention.

...but alas...that list is woefully lacking! Oh the horror! :o

As Blamona said : "The great thing about Fodor's, is they have these forums, and us to correct things! ;)"

So...which restaurants would YOU add to that list? :)

Coyoba's in Turks and Caicos.
Any restaurant in Grand Case, St. Martin. (Almost any restaurant in all of St. Martin French side actually)
Mangos in Anguilla.

I have to agree with Blamona. You cannot mention the Caribbean and leave out St Martin. The restaurants there are just fabulous.

I agree with many of their selections, however, leaving out St. Martin is a crime!

I would also add some restaurants in Old San Juan. I have always had wonderful meals there.

Well, I've only been to one of the restaurants on the Fodor's list, but based on what I've read of the others, I do not disagree with the other selections. They didn't post it as the 10 best restaurants, after all. Just 10 that are worth the splurge.

As for being worth the splurge, I guess I'd add Montpelier on Nevis. But truthfully, many of the best meals I've eaten in the Caribbean weren't splurges at all!

Havana Blue, Virgilio's & sometimes Old Stone Farmhouse on St. Thomas.
