I'd like to know how I can go from Vancouver to Victoria by bus/ferries.

It's very easy. Just catch a bus in downtown Vancouver that takes you to downtown Victoria.

Yes...PCL will take you right from Vancouver, on to the ferry, and to downtown Victoria for one price. It's easy and affordable :)

Thank you very much. You were very kind. But I have a new question: how can I go from Victoria to The Butchart Gardens?

The information I posted previously on this site was that after June 15 the Greyline bus costs $45.50 per person return and runs hourly from 9:00 to 3:00 (going out , I presume?) in the summertime. That fee includes entry to the gardens. You can ask about it at the bus depot behind/beside the Empress Hotel.

Return taxi would cost somewhere around $80 with tip and then you'd have pay approx. $20 each to get into the gardens.

Or for a few bucks each way you can take a city bus. You can catch that on Douglas Street and it would be a two-zone fare. Garden entry fee and bus fare would probably total less than $30.
