It's getting so close - I don't know if I can make it through another 2 weeks of work.

Seventeen days soon enough
Til I’m safe in Ottawa, ain’t no guff!

Oh, I love Ottawa!
If you wander down Elgin Street, a couple of blocks down, on the right hand side, there is a magazine store that has the greatest section of travel magazines that I've ever seen.
I always come home with a pile of new magazines... some from Britain and other parts of the world.

I've been to that store. It's amazing what they have. Ottawa is one of my favorite cities - it's so calm and relaxed.

...and don't forget crepes with the mini-GTGers!

Since we're "mini" GTGers, does that mean we get to pig out on crepes??? :-d

I am so looking forward to getting together with you all!!

Absolutely! And the same little kids probably don't know that Tim Horton was a hockey player. They probably think he invented coffee or something.

I knew he didn't invent coffee, but he did invent the donut, right?

Well, as hard as I try , I can't think of anything to rhyme. I'm not much of a poet.
So I'll just have to say in 15 days, Canada will shine a little brighter.

Fourteen days and I’ll be away
In the Canadian sun, I’m gonna play!

Thirteen days and I’ll be gone
I’m gonna hear some Canadian songs!

Just thirteen days until she's here
And we'll all get drunk on Canadian beer!

13 days before you try a Coffee Crisp,
going thru the border we hope you're not frisked!
