Our family laptop is a little bulky as well; we wanted the 15.4" screen. It's just a Toshiba Satellite, nothing fancy. My work laptop is also a Toshiba, but much lighter, so business traveling is good. Son has a fancier model, it can accommodate memory sticks and the like without extra doodads.

My purse never turned up. But, I had that kind of feeling and was very protective of it that day -- so I am here to tell you, that if somebody wants that purse, they can get it. Also an inside job, I was sitting in a corner where nobody except employees could go behind me, and had it looped around a chair leg. Anyway, that cured me.
We're in the Orlando area. Great airport in terms of fares, but very busy.

I think I have learned my lesson on the purses...I now have a small change purse that I keep my credit cards, money, etc. in which can fit into a deep pocket.

Laptops are so wonderful but I am sorta wanting a pocket pc. I wonder if they would suffice in place of a laptop...probably not. Thanks for sharing.

This post is for Tanya...

I believe you were at the Oak Bay Marina, in Oak Bay where the seals are. I was going to mention this place for lunch (to original poster) or better yet, a Sunday brunch. Nice open view of the boats in Marina. We stayed a month in Oak Bay and ate here many times. For quick lunch, just outside the larger restaurant, there is a small deli where one can eat outdoors overlooking the small harbor.
