Beautiful pictures! Is the picture "Deaths Corner viaduct" on the way to Arthur's Pass?

You are lucky you had such good weather. We went for 2 weeks at the beginning of Feb, and almost everyday was cold and rainy.

Hi Leslie,<BR><BR>The Deaths Corner viaduct is just past the Arthur's Pass Village. I'd recommend that at the Village that you drop by the DOC office and pick up a local map. The DOC person I spoke to was very helpful in pointing out good scenic lookouts for us, including Deaths Corner. <BR>

Pat -<BR><BR>I totally agree with you ! My biggest worry prior to the trip was the weather. We can plan and control for so many things, but the weather was just a matter of keeping our fingers crossed.
