wendy- from the looks of the above, you are going to get a milllion requests over the next 3 years for your report. Why don't you just post it here? Break it up into segments and post them as consecutive replies here. They will stick together (unlike separate posts) and all can read them!

Hi Wendy, I too would love to have a copy of your report. We spent two weeks in NZ this past summer and are planning a return month long trip.For Carol, We found that we were able to get very good rates at the banks in the airport terminal and they took any form of money that we had including AMEX travellers checks. Your ATM card works well too for quick cash.

Wendy- My husband and I leave a month from today for a 4 week trip to NZ and would love to receive your report. We willhave a car and are a bit overwhelmed over the possibilities. We are trying to book places to stay from here, but have 7 days after Queenstown unbooked, wneh we were planning to "wing" it and wander along the southern coast through Dunedin and back up to christchurch, where we will fly to Napier and get another dar for 2 weeks. Are we missing out by not going into the iterior of south island? Aside from the Tranzalpine train to Greymouth, we will probably be mostly on the coasts. I'd really love to get your report. Hi, Yes I do have some thoughts. If you are going to drive alot and explore I would not go the motorhome route. Roads are very narrow and twisty and then you have to park a big vehicle somewhere. Go to a small car and then just do the B&amp;B, cabins or hostels. I just sent you the report. Wendy
