All cases currently involve travelers and no local transmissions.

That's good to know, Saltuarius. I've been out of town for a couple of weeks so heard nothing, but not a mention of any possible dengue fever outbreak in local paper yesterday or today, and the Cairns Post isn't slow in reporting any hint of a potential problem.

Certainly hasn't stopped my friends spending a week in Port Douglas next week, nor would it stop me. Knowing the authorities and media aren't reticent about reporting outbreaks, however small, is a plus.
