Sidetrips from Vietnam

I am trying book sidtrips while in Vietnam, does anyone know of agency that books sidetrips for a day or two to Cambodia and Thailand.
Thanks

I don't know of any company that runs tours out of Vietnam. It's kind of a closed system there, with all tourist activities essentially controled by the state-owned Viet-tours.

Your best be might be to check out Viator (http://www.affiliate.viator.com/broc...&AUID=1369). Viator is a sort of consolidator, offering day trips, side tours and other travel services. The services themselves are provided by local operators.

You should be able to book a side trip to Cambodia and/or Thailand very easily yourself. And you'll likely save half on what an agent would charge.

Hey Katie:
Should I book this when I get there, or do it from the US. If I were to do it from here, have you used any websites.
Thanks

For hotels, I typically use www.asiahotels.com but there are many reputable hotel booking sites.

If you'll post your itinerary, I'm sure you'll get lots of comments and suggestions. I would book the flights in and out of Siem Reap ahead of time, as those flights are typically full.
