My turn to ask! Need recommendations for a hotel in Shanghai as central as possible in the $50-80 region.<BR>Thanks<BR>James

I stayed at Jin Jiang YMCA Hotel last time. It's only US$54 per room. It's a real hotel, not dorm (although they also offer dormitory room for much cheaper). It offers basic accomodation with great view of Shanghai Museum.<BR><BR>Regarding location, it's only 5-10 minutes walk from Peoples Square and Shanghai Museum. Also, close to the shopping street Nanjing Road and Huaihai Road. <BR><BR>http://www.ymcahotel.com/english/index.htm
