Thanks, Bisbee, the article confirms that the only Bangkok Air route affected is the Siem Reap - PP route NOT the Bangkok - Siem Reap route.

Sorry to jump into this thread but, I figure its best to go where the information is:

Do you know/are you able to see, if Bangkok Air has stopped its flights from BKK to Krabi? I try checking flts/prices on their website but each time I check, for whatever future date, it says "no seats available." Yet, it does seem the BAir flies to both BKK and Krabi. Maybe they stopped their flights?

If so, Air Asia is another option?

You might be right tengohambre about the axing of the Krabi route as they do reconfigure the non-profitable sector.

Alternatives are Thai Airways and Air Asia both with 3 flights per day.

Thank you Hanuman. I now see the same article mentions that the Krabi flights are stopping also. Will have to look to the other flight options. Or, Hua Hin, where a flight isn't necessary . . . .

You're welcome tengohambre. If someone were to offer me a complimentary weekend to either Hua Hin or Krabi I would choose Krabi.
