We just returned from a great two week trip to Thailand. We visited Bangkok, Koh Samet and Chiang Mai. I just finished my journal. If anyone is interested in a copy , please respond here or e-mail me directly. Sawatdee ka!

Hi Meg, Would love to read your journal trip. I was in Bangkok last Jan.-in and out 6 days but have not been to Chiang Mai. I will return for a few days this Jan., but will be on my way to Vietnam and Laos. I may get Chiang Mai in also. Thanks.

Planning a trip to Bangkok late September early October. My concern is that it is the rainy season. Will the rain be cause for concern? <BR>Please advise.

Ruben - I have never been to Thailand that time of year, but I've read that Bangkok experiences flooding in September and October. There is flooding now in Phetchabun (I think that's the right city), which is about 175 miles north of Bangkok. Rainy season lasts until October.
