Ok, I'm planning on buying my tickets in the next hour or so. Great prices!
|
Where are you getting these great prices, Kathie? I'm coming up with about $865. for a weekend air/car/hotel. That's on Unitedvacations.com and Expedia. Happy Travels!
|
We paid under $400 each for the tickets by flying in on Friday and out on Monday. We're doing hotel separately, and won't have a car since we're staying in Waikiki. From Seattle, it's hard to get a RT to HNL for under $600 typically.
How many nights are you staying, Guen? PS We need to talk more about your Seattle plans! We're looking forward to some time with you here. |
Oops - forgot to mention we booked on the united.com website
|
kathie, i saw the good fares on ua from sea to hnl. fares from lax to hnl were a bit higher, strange.
if you need a ride from the airport, let me know and i will contact the service that i use to and from the airport. its a very reliable service and reasonable. |
ox cart with ancient driver....he likes wine however...

Thanks for the info, Kathie. I've been almost exclusively on united.com and unitedvacations.com and the airfares out of L.A. and Burbank have been very high...$800-$1200. Now there were some packages car/hotel/air for about $860. but the flight times were horrible on the return...leaving at around 9:30PM and arriving the next morning. Many of the decent times are already sold out.
I had this same problem when I took my dad so the price of the package went up in order to take a decent-time flight. So, I'll keep trying. And yes, we'll discuss the Seattle trip soon. I'll start on it this weekend. You had mentioned a salmon dinner or something a few months ago. That sounds great to me. I don't want too much movement as I'm tired. Just basically shop and eat. Smiles. And maybe a museum. You said something about an Asian Museum. Got to go. Hapopy Travels! |
Correction..."Happy" not "Hapopy". The finger slipped...Smiles. Happy Travels!

Ken, thanks for the offer about airport transportation. I'll ask Bob to send me your email address.

Kathie,
If you ever come to Hawaii and don't want to stay in Waikiki, here is one place I recommend. I know, it's a Marriott, but its got a whole different feel to it thats not like Waikiki, lol. http://www.ihilani.com/ Aloha! |
WHAT'S WRONG WITH MARRIOTT????
|
HT, What a coincidence! Cheryl just got a call from Marriott (don't tell Bob) about the villas next door to this JW Marriott. We might have stayed there this time except for the hoolaulea!
