Well we finally leave in the morning for our month long Japan trip!

Thank you all for all the advice and encouragement. I will try to check in along the way as most of our rooms will have free internet access and I will also take notes on my trusty laptop. I will give a full report(hopefully penalty free) when we return. Sayonara!

daddy, are we there yet??

We have arrived!

Cherry blossoms are everywhere in Tokyo :) Some are a few days past prime but what the heck. We had our hanami yesterday in Shinjuku chuo park for a couple of hours. We are up early today as still on Hawaii time.

Off to see more blossoms at Shinjuku gyoen park and the Imperial palace if I can keep Linda away from shopping long enough ;)

ps The concierge lounge at the Hyatt Regency Tokyo has changed their "free" wine to CA brands instead of the French that we loved.....oh well, we suffered through it :)
