You need a serviced apartment. moveandstay.com. I've stayed at one for years and I'm only 1 person. I can't imagine 9 people staying at a hotel. If you go the serviced apartment route and pick some out, run the list by us since there are a few of us, in this forum, who know many of the buildings and have stayed in different buildings. Happy Travels!

ttvan...I stay at Emporium Suites. I've stayed there for years now and stay for 3 weeks. I have an 80 square-meter studio there.
The building and location is worth every baht as far as I'm concerned. Plus, it's attached to Emporium Mall which is attached to the Prom Phong skytrain station. The huge, gourmet supermarket is on the top floor of the Emporium Mall and the Bangkok Bank is across from the lobby. I don't know of a building with better conveniences.
It's nice to be able to grocery shop and push the grocery basket back to the apartment and then have a staff member take it back to the market. One never has to leave the air conditioning to do hardly anything. which is nice on days that one doesn't feel like going out or one is feeling sick with stomach sickness. Plus, the pharmacy, Boots, is right inside the mall. There's also an internet cafe inside of the mall. Happy Travels!
