It really depends on what you want. Food wise they are quite similar. Price wise they are quite similar as well.

Hong Kong people are much more mandrain influenced but there is more diversity in singapore and hence more variety in the food. There are also a lot more attractions in Singapore and its more modern and tourist friendly.

The best thing about hong kong imo was the never ending cable car, they have one of the best in the world.

I have never been to Hong Kong, but have been to Singapore a lot and love the diversity there and the food is great. Happy Travels!
