Did anyone else notice the frequency of Hanuman's "holidays"? China, Switzerland, who knows what's next? Of course, he may gte to be a guest of the Swiss government after the cowbell caper comes to fruition.
|
Hanuman can accomplish anything.
Releasing a placid cow from its unwieldy, clanging necklace is small potatoes for an agent of his stature. |
Pssst, hanuman, those cow bells are available in souvenir shops. They come in all sizes.... You can always buy one there, and then make up a good story about wrestling it from a Swiss cow.

Just got back from another beautiful day at Engelberg and Mt. Titlis.
Carol, That was my plan all along, take a photo next to a cow and then go and buy a bell from a souvenir shop. Perhaps if I can find a cow lying on it's side then I can claim that I flipped it to get it's bell! Did see some young soldiers(armed but no magazine on their guns) getting off a train today. The soldiers here have very long hairs and non of them carried the Swiss army knife - another SCAM by the Swiss government? |
Pook... great story... flipping the cow!
Swiss army knife scam... yep! Have a great day. How's the scenery? Are you clouded in, or is it clear blue sky? C |
Wengen?? Linda and I once experienced a thunderstorm in Wengen. What a sight and especially the sounds. The thunder would boom, I mean unreal loud as it echoed throughout the valleys, just spectacular.
Hope you all are having a good vacation. Perhaps if I can find a cow lying on it's side = lean beef Aloha! |
The expression is "cow tipping" not cow flipping.
|
Andy, that's amazing that you knew that... coming from a city boy lawyer... haha
HT.. lean beef... good one! I know I can always come to fodors for a laugh or two during my busy day! Keep 'em coming. |
Cambridge is all things to all people. Cows grazed on Cambridge Common in Revolutionary times. Hanuman should have known this from his storied youth.

Hanuman:
While in Luzern be sure to go see the Lion in Stone and of course walk the bridge. We we fortunate to walk the bridge years ago before it burned down and now has been rebuilt. Did you go to Mount Pilitas? We will be in BKK Jan 16 thru Jan 29- maybe we can hook up for a drink or meal? |
