mrwunrfl, that's a good example of the attitude I'm talking about. In my travels I try to be as courteous as I reasonably can. I expect the same in return. Sadly, this was not the case the last time I visited the US. In UK travel forums I have heard this said many times.

In no particular order...Sri Lanka/Maldives/Vietnam/Laos/Cambodia/ Myanmar/Aruba/Bhutan/Zanzibar/Argentina/Osaka,Japan....and of course back to most of the couple dozen or so places I've already been to which I adore. Happy Travels!

Have the provisional votes been counted? How about the long lines to vote? Cambridge is a state of mind and soul. Mere physical visits cannot transport anyone to that higher plane. That's why Bob and I have dinner in Brookline. There's a border that he cannot/will not cross. I do note for the record that a tally of places without weighting them by where they are mentioned in posters' wish lists is unrepresentative of how much each location is desired. For instance two number 10 mentions should not get higher ranking than a single entry at the top of someone's list. Typical Republican polling data.
