rumor has it that the ROS is going to finally be able to afford a tree lined swimming pool of their own.....they have bought a barge and will attach it to the pier and have an above ground pool there with plastic trees....this frees up the portugese embassy pool for the ambassador's family to finally use again..

Alas, Andy! It's been many years since the ROS had full butler service. Bob, I just got my email confirmation of my reservations for a tower suite, so you are right, my suite has not collapsed.

no, kathie will have departed for glorious india by the time i arrive... i fear she will be disappointed in the tower rooms however.....but maybe cheryl will kick in for an oberoi stay or two....
